Polo Sylt: Augsburg Airways wins the Julius Bär Beach Polo World Cup 2023

Augsburg Airways, with polo pro Patrick Maleitzke and teammate Daniel Deistler, takes first place at the 15th Julius Baer Beach Polo World Cup 2023.

It was an exciting Pentecost weekend in Hörnum on the island of Sylt. Six international teams with two players each delivered exciting competitions in the maritime setting. Young up-and-coming talents as well as old-established polo pros swing their stick on the beach field. In varied weather the spectators enjoy, in the VIP tent with fine catering and best champagne, exciting chukker and the breeze of the Wadden Sea. Nowhere are the visitors as close to the players and horses as at Polo Sylt!

Procedure

We arrive on the island of Sylt on Thurstday, 16th May 2024 at 4:30 pm. After landing, we will take you to the Budersand Hotel, which has been reserved especially for you and leaves nothing to be desired. The drive to the hotel takes you along the west coast of the island of Sylt in around 20 minutes. This guarantees you a unique view! After your arrival on Tuesday, Wednesday offers the opportunity to relax in the SPA area or for a round of golf.

From Wednesday noon to Sunday, the exclusive Polo Sylt takes centre stage. Your VIP tickets include first–class catering and all drinks.

Hotel Severin’s Resort and SPA is located in the immediate vicinity of Keitum beach – in just ten minutes you are already at the Polo Arena on foot.
